   Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following Teaching Posts at Bodoland University :

1.Associate  Professor
No. Of Posts : 18

2.Assistant Professor
No. Of Posts: 33

Qualification and Experience : As per latest UGC norms. NET/SLET shall remain compulsory requirement for the post of Assistant Professor with exemption for the candidate of Ph.D. holders as per UGC guidelines

Pay Band and Academic Grade Pay :

Associate Professor – PB 4 Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 & AGP – Rs. 9,000
Assistant Professor – PB 3 Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 & AGP – Rs. 6,000

Reservation : Reservation of ST(P)/ST(H)/SC/OBC & MOBC/Pwd/Women as per Assam Govt. Rule.
Associate Professor : ST(P) – 01, ST(H) – 01, SC – 02, OBC/MOBC – 04, Gen. – 10, Women – 30% of total posts.
Assistant Professor : ST(P) – 03, ST(H) – 02, SC – 03, OBC/MOBC – 08, Gen. – 17, Women – 30% of total posts.

Application Fee & Last Date : Candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs. 1,000.00 (in case of ST/SC Rs. 500.00) as an application fee for the post by Demand Draft in favour of The Registrar, Bodoland University payable at SBI, Balagaon Branch (Code – 7379), Kokrajhar. Completed application in the prescribed form along with all necessary enclosures and testimonials must reach : The Registrar, Bodoland University, P.O. Rangalikhata (Debargaon), Dist. Kokrajhar (Assam), PIN?783370, latest by 31.03.2012.

Those who are willing to apply for more than one post, they must submit separate application form with separate application fees. The name of the post and department must be written on the envelope of the application.
